Niamh was a Speech and Drama student with me for 16 years with exceptional results.
She set up her own Speech and drama school in 2010.
Niamh is excellent at focusing on and developing each childs individual talents, building confidence and oral communication skills through drama.
I believe she will continue on the great tradition of developing the love of drama with the youth of Leixlip.

‘My daughter Eve, age 9, has attended speech and drama classes with Niamh Byrne for 4 years. Eve loves her class every week, and is full of poems and stories to tell me when she comes home. She has really flourished under Niamhs guidance. Her confidence in reading or reciting in public is excellent, and is often commented on by other parents at school concerts, etc. The wide range of activities which the children do each week, mimes, dramas, songs, poems and the like, are a great basis for reading and poetry in school. Eve has taken several exams and moved up through the grades happily and has also taken part in the Annual Spring Feis, in Dublin, which was a great day out. Niamh is an excellent teacher who takes time to get to know the strengths and weaknesses of her students and guides them appropriately. I cannot recommend the classes highly enough for the enjoyment the children get from them, and from a parental point of view, the children are learning techniques to help them remember pieces and poems, using correct grammar and annunciation and gaining confidence for speaking in public’

Dear Niamh,
You have been a fantastic teacher. Before coming to you I liked my Drama classes but when you became my teacher I loved them! I really did look forward to every single class. I was never bored, even Stanislavski was bearable!! I believe this was down to how you always taught with such enthusiasm. I could always tell how much you loved your job.
I am really going to miss my classes and I can't wait until this leaving cert lark is over and I can come back and do my diploma.

I honestly can't say thank you enough for all you've helped me with. Although it is a huge relief to have completed all this, I have to admit that it's sad to say goodbye to such a huge part of my life.
I looked forward to Speech and Drama class every week, you always made our class a place for work, fun and a gossip. Thank you again for your relentless encouragement, I couldn't have done this without you.
