Principal Niamh Byrne
BA (Hons), LLCM (TD), RAD RTS

Niamh has a BA (Hons) Degree in childhood education, CMA diploma in Speech Therapy, a licentiate diploma in Speech and Drama (LLCM), a certificate in ballet teaching studies, certificate in children's yoga training (age 2 - 17), child protection certificate (Tusla), certificate in first aid and fire safety. 

 

Niamh began Speech and Drama at age 4. In her 15 years years with Leixlip Youth Theatre Niamh achieved all grades with the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), receiving outstanding results in each. She continued on to be awarded a distinction in her Senior Certificate.

Following this, Niamh proceeded to study Speech and Drama teaching at London College of Music where she graduated with her Licentiate of the London College of Music Teaching Diploma (LLCM). Niamh has taken part in a wide variety of musicals and drama productions such as Oliver, Pinocchio and Blood Brothers.

Niamh's ballet training began at the early age of 3. She successfully completed all RAD grade exams and continued on to study with the Royal Academy of Dance London where she was awarded her CBTS.

Niamh's passion and skill for classical ballet has seen her perform in many dance productions such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Romeo and Juliet. 

Niamh's love of ballet is evident in her style of teaching. 

Michaela Byrne ARIAM (TD)

Michaela Byrne ARIAM began her Speech and Drama training at the early age of 3 with Leixlip Youth Theatre and continued with The Kings Hospital Speech and Drama where she completed all RIAM grades. 
Michaela went on to study Speech and Drama teaching with the Royal Irish Academy where she was awarded her ARIAM teaching diploma.
Michaela has been involved both back stage and on stage in a wide variety of musicals and Drama productions over the years.
